Joan Greene - Piano
Joan Greene has been a pianist since she was four years old. She has a love of sharing music with students of all ages and all kinds of music. She has performed professionally since the age of thirteen.
Joan is a recipient of numerous awards for her playing, including winning 1st place of the University of Florida Sonata Competition, Pensacola Junior College Musician of the year in 1985, recipient of the AIMS accompanist scholarship in Graz, Austria in 1993. She has performed throughout the United States, Japan, Mexico and Austria. She has also been the Musical Director for forty musicals and operas.
She has three music degrees including a Masters of Music Degree with an emphasis in Piano Accompanying from SMU. She is currently working on her doctorate.
