Ms. Claire Brown - Piano

Claire Brown began her musical studies at the age of 7, studying under Liana Bramlett at Coppell Conservatory in 2003. She participated in competitions and festivals throughout her school years, nurturing her passion for the instrument. As her love of music continued to grow, she became proficient at the organ and percussion, but the piano has always been her greatest interest.

After high school, Claire attended Baylor University, pursuing a degree in Economics. While in the first semester at Baylor, she decided that music was a passion that she could not give up pursuing. Claire added a double major in piano after her first semester, studying under Terry Lynn Hudson. While in school, she also became a member of Baylor University’s Chapter of Music Teachers National Association. In the spring of 2018, Claire graduated magna cum laude from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Music and Economics.

Although Claire has performed as a soloist, accompanist, and in an ensemble setting, her true passion has always been in teaching. She began teaching at the age of 17 and has continued to share her love of music and piano with students. Her vision is finding a unique approach tailored to each individual student in order to foster their growth and passion for music.
