Christopher Djinov - VIOLIN

Christopher Djinov, a native of Bulgaria, is a violinist, an active orchestra, chamber, and solo musician. He strongly stands behind the idea that all people should have access to world class artists and their music. As an artist, advocate, and student, he is engaged in his community through people, music, and culture.

He is currently in his final semester of studies in violin performance at the University of North Texas (Denton) under the tutelage of Professor Eunice Keem- Associate Concertmaster of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Some of his other teachers include Gary Levinson-Senior Principal AssociateConcertmaster of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. After moving to the United States, Christopher attended public schools all throughout the second to twelfth grade. Growing up Christopher was a member of DAAYO (The Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra), where his true passion for orchestral music, and performance grew. While in grade school he was a member of his schoolsโ€™ orchestra and band programs, TMEA, all region, and solo ensemble.

Throughout his development, he has attended DKOI- (The David Kim Orchestral Institute)- with the concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra David Kim, and other musicians from the major American Orchestras such as the Metropolitan, Chicago, and Los Angeles. He has also attended the Vienna Music Festival in Vienna, Austria in 2022, and the Round Top Festival Institute in 2023. These festivals not only have helped him grow into a better musician, but have also opened doors for new connections, and for his continued violin instrumental studies.
