Christopher Djinov - VIOLIN
He is currently in his final semester of studies in violin performance at the University of North Texas (Denton) under the tutelage of Professor Eunice Keem- Associate Concertmaster of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Some of his other teachers include Gary Levinson-Senior Principal AssociateConcertmaster of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. After moving to the United States, Christopher attended public schools all throughout the second to twelfth grade. Growing up Christopher was a member of DAAYO (The Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra), where his true passion for orchestral music, and performance grew. While in grade school he was a member of his schoolsโ orchestra and band programs, TMEA, all region, and solo ensemble.

As a student at the UNT, he is a member of the Symphony Orchestra under the leadership of maestro David Itkin. Parallel to this, he was also a member of Maestro David Itkinโs conductorโs lab orchestra, in which David Itkin worked with fellow conducting students on various repertoire. This experience has also helped him develop his artistry as an orchestral musician through the academic point of view. One of the most important education aspects that Christopher has grown through is in the chamber music studies. He has had the opportunity to work with many colleagues, various ensembles, and repertoire.
Outside of his academic engagements, Christopher plays in some local orchestras around Texas and hopes to audition for other orchestras in the very near future.
In his free time, Christopher enjoys working in his home music studio composing, recording vocals, or arranging old works and giving them a new sound. Christopher shares a true passion for great food and enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking in various traditional styles. He enjoys going to Dallas Symphony Orchestra concerts and chamber music concerts on a regular basis to listen to his teachers perform along with other world class artists.
