Mr. Andrew Greear is a native Texan and has been performing professionally since 2015. Mr. Greear studied at Texas Woman’s University where he received his BA in Musical Performance and a MM in Musical Pedagogy. He studied under Carlo Pezzimenti, who helped foster his love for classical guitar. Mr. Greear was twice nominated for the University’s Honor Recital, being selected as a finalist in 2023. Under Mr. Pezzimenti’s teaching, Mr. Greear excelled in the classical guitar and was given the opportunity to perform at many of the University’s private events. Mr. Greear began his performing experience when he was selected as a finalist in the T-Bone Walker Blues Festival Junior Showcase in 2015, where he gained valuable playing experience performing with his band for three years. In 2016, Mr. Greear’s band was asked to perform at the T-Bone Walker Blues Festival and was asked to judge the Junior Showcase that launched his career.

Through teaching neurologists how to play ukulele, Mr. Greear worked closely with Dr. Patrica Evans M.D. Ph.D. as a co-author in her research on the positive impact of using music in order to engage autistic and cognitively impaired children in a telehealth setting.
