Coppell Conservatory - Janna Bauskar

Mrs. Janna Bauskar began playing piano at age 4 and vividly remembers her thrill at simultaneously learning her top 2 favorite things—reading music and reading books! She received her bachelor’s degrees in Piano Performance and English Literature from Huntingdon College; she then earned a Master’s degrees in Piano Performance from The University of Alabama in 1999. While a student at Huntingdon College, she started teaching beginning piano students, and quickly realized that in teaching she had found a new “favorite thing.”

Mrs. Bauskar loves to play the piano, and finds music most enjoyable when she can share it with others. As a piano teacher, Mrs. Bauskar strives to nurture students’ individual gifts and interests, while carefully guiding them in the details and nuances of their musical development.

Mrs. Bauskar has experience teaching students of all ages and musical levels, and is always interested in finding new ways to develop musical knowledge, technique, imagination, and just plain fun!

Ms. Bauskar is married and has 3 great kids who keep her life fun and never boring! She lives in Coppell and can be found happily Bell with student

playing piano at many Coppell High School Choir events.

In the Spring semester of 2010, Mrs. Bauskar joined the staff at the Coppell Conservatory where she teaches piano with the passion and the enthusiasm that made her loved by all of the students she encounters.

Mrs. Bauskar is a member of CMTA, the Texas Music Teachers Association (TMTA), and the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).
